HOMEOPATH

Corinne Dowd

zoltan-tasi-vHnVtLK8rCc-unsplash

“I am interested especially in conditions that are difficult to treat conventionally.
It seems to me that the human body is highly dynamic and strives towards self-healing. Whilst no-one knows the exact mechanism by which homeopathy works it is believed to be an energy medicine that helps the body heal itself.”

Corinne trained at the London School of Classical Homeopathy and Westminster University. As a mother of three, she is sensitive and empathetic when meeting worried parents with their children. She understands that sometimes people need to take medication and may feel isolated and unsupported. Thankfully, homoeopathy can be used alongside conventional medicine.

Her prescriptions are based on detailed case history and are directly related to the signals the body sends out, such as physical symptoms or emotional responses, including how the patient expresses themselves.

Consultations are friendly, empathetic and patient-centred. For those who have little or no knowledge of homoeopathy, she offers a free initial phone call. For those who would like to learn more about how they can use remedies at home, for themselves, she organises classes along with colleagues for small local groups.

“I’m a Holistic Core Restore® Coach & soft tissue professional and I have experience working with hundreds of women of various ages and fitness levels since 2009.”

I truly empathise with everyone I work with because I’ve had to slow down and listen to my body. I’ll find something that works for you, whatever level you’re at… I’ll challenge you and help you strengthen from the inside out.

I don’t just train you… I learned that introducing self-care by teaching you breathing techniques and self-massage, gave far better results with both weight-loss and healing after childbirth.   Please join my free facebook group

Move Strong London has recently opened a specialist Personal Training Studio near Blackhorse Road, offering one to one and group sessions.

Classes on offer include Postnatal Fitness, Strength and Conditioning and Yoga, with more additions to the timetable coming soon.

At Move Strong London we focus on reinforcing the connection between your mind and your body through full body movement and strength training. Exercise is so often seen as a chore or a punishment to negate certain lifestyles or eating habits but this really doesn’t need to be the case.

By focusing on the process rather than the outcome we can help you find joy in training and leading a healthy lifestyle. Think less ‘beach ready’ (whatever that means) and more ‘life ready’ as we focus on building functional strength and bulletproof joints that will see you well into your later years and running rings around any little people in your life!
